BK Logistics ("we", "our", or "us") operates the BK Logistics mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to provide our logistics tracking service:
- Account credentials: Username and password used to log in to the App.
- Vehicle data: Car details (VIN, make, model, year, status, photos) associated with your account, entered and managed by BK Logistics staff.
- Usage data: Basic app usage logs for debugging and service improvement (e.g., API request timestamps). No third-party analytics SDKs are used.
- Photo Library (optional): Only when you explicitly tap "Save to Photos", the App requests permission to write vehicle photos to your device's photo library. We do not read, scan, or upload your existing photos.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and grant access to your vehicle tracking data.
- To display vehicle status, shipping information, and documents assigned to your account.
- To save selected vehicle photos to your device at your explicit request.
- To improve the reliability and performance of the App.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect location data.
- We do not access your camera, contacts, or microphone.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.
- We do not read your existing photo library — only write access is requested, and only when you initiate a save.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your account credentials are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections to our secure server. Authentication tokens are stored locally on your device and are automatically cleared when you log out. Vehicle data is stored on our private server and accessible only to authorized BK Logistics accounts.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your account and associated data deleted, please contact us using the information below. Locally stored tokens are deleted immediately upon logout.
6. Children's Privacy
The BK Logistics App is intended for business use by adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw photo library permission at any time via iOS Settings → BK Logistics → Photos.
8. Third-Party Services
The App communicates exclusively with the BK Logistics backend server. No third-party SDKs (analytics, advertising, crash reporting) are included in the App.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
